Hi! My name is Kristen Strother. I am from South Louisiana. I am married to my wonderful husband, Cory, and we have two children, Ava and Lincoln. We just moved to Texas, and are so excited to explore this area.

I have been teaching middle school for eleven years now. I love teaching reading. I enjoy sharing my passion for reading with students, and helping them to become better readers. It is so important that we instill a passion for reading in our children, and that we continue to foster that passion as they get older.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family. I love to cook, and am constantly trying out new recipes. I also enjoy traveling. I especially like going to Walt Disney World and cruising. I love to read and am always reading new books.

I am very excited to teach at STEAM Middle School this year. I love working with technology, and am looking forward to all of the interesting projects and lessons that I have planned.
