Season begins!!!
Head Coach Jeremy Martin
Been at Centennial High School since 2013. Since being at CHS he coached the first swimming district team championship in 2022 when the girls' team took home the title. He has coached all of the current Spartan record holders. He has also coached the following:
34 District champions 517 All-District selections
6 Regional champions 152 All-Region selections
1 State medalist 21 All-State selections
42 Academic All-State Academic All-Americans
Coach Martin is married to Amy, and they have 7 children between the two of them, ranging in ages from 17-30. He had the honor and privilege to coach two of his daughters on the Centennial swim team. One is a 3 time record holder, and the other was a member of the first-ever district championship team. "Those were moments that I won't forget. I may or may not have teared up getting to take my coach hat off and put on the dad hat on during those moments." Oh yeah, can't forget that he has 3 furry kids too!!!
Favorite subject in school: History
Dream college/career: Doing my calling, but should have been a sports broadcaster. Wanted to play basketball at Indiana University
Hobbies/Interest: Avid baseball card collector with over 48,000 cataloged cards. Also, golf and hanging out with Amy.
Favorite movie/show: The Princess Bride
Go to song/playlist before a meet: Well, we didn't have these high-falutin' music players when I was swimming. So I guess the voices in my head.
Favorite food: Steak!!!! Rare!!!
Fun fact/hidden talent: I can juggle and still do the worm. No, not at the same time.

Best advice I've received from a coach: Be where your feet are. Control the things you can control and let the rest play out.
