List of scholarships can be found here on the district page. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1NHGNmIbR5wxmVFnFAXgaFGjA0esalMhy/view
Scholarships will be added as the district receives them. Don't forget to look at the college or university's scholarship pages as well (usually found on the financial aid site for each college or university). Many post scholarships that are available to their students. They will also post due dates.
A few websites that are great places to start looking for scholarships:
FAFSA and FSA ID
FSA ID - FSAID.ED.GOV
Please see the instructions below on how to create an FSA ID for not only the student, but also for one parent or guardian. If parents/guardians already have an FSA ID from completing the form for themselves or a previous student, they will not need a new ID.
Before you begin the FSA process you will need the following information available:
Social Security Number (for student and parent/guardian)
Email address (separate for student and parent/guardian; students should use a NON-BISD email)
Mobile phone
Steps to register for an FSA ID:
Go to FSAID.ED.GOV
Click on Create an FSA ID (both students and parents will need to complete this separately with different email addresses).
Create your unique username, then enter personal information, contact information, and communication preferences.
Then you will create four challenge questions.
Next you will confirm and verify the entered information
Finally-verify contact information through a secure code sent to your communication preference
Once you have verified, click Finish
