A: Click the print icon or CTRL-P to print your current browser page. Please be aware of how many pages are shown in the preview pane. You will probably see “Save as PDF” as your default destination. Click the “Change” button below that and select the WMS Cloud Print.
Come to the Library or Commons to release and retrieve your print job. You’ll need your network password (six digits).
A: Yes. We’ve discovered that the best way to do this is to be logged into the Google Chrome browser or logged into your Google Drive with your “Frogrock” credentials. You should see the WMS Cloud Print in the printer dialog box if those two conditions apply.
If you’re signed into a non-school Google Account it will NOT appear.
A: We have two printers with small laptops running in kiosk mode. They connect to our cloud printer service, Papercut and track everyone’s print jobs.
Currently there are two locations at Woodward. Look to the far right in the Library and you’ll locate one. The other in is the Commons in the bag storage area. Both stations will be open during school hours only, but you can send print jobs 24/7.
When you enter you six digit network password you’ll see ALL your current print jobs. Release ONLY the jobs you need printed. You can delete mistakes here too.
A: Yes. Printing from the Google Chrome browser is best. There are other apps, but it’s simplest to use Chrome and select the printer as you would on a Chromebook.
A: Not really. You will still choose the WMS Cloud Print as above. Then you will need to go to a print release station and release the print job by typing in your six digit network ID. You could also direct print, but this is so cool, why would you?
