Welcome to the 2020 school year. I am so excited to be your P.E. teacher, and I'm looking forward to working with you! This will be my 4th year teaching at Blakely, and I am so thankful to be a part of such an amazing (bulldog) community. Although we won't be starting the school year in person like we're used to, we are going to make the best out of our distance learning.
I was born locally and grew up on Bainbridge Island. I attended Ordway Elementary, but I promise I'm a Bulldog for life! I played football and earned my B.A.E. at Hamline University, all the way in St. Paul Minnesota (very cold). I completed my M.Ed through Xavier University (Online, 2016-2018).
I was the Head Football Coach at Kingston High School for 4 seasons (2016,17,18, & 19). I am currently an assistant coach for the Bainbridge High School Track & Field Team. I coach the throwing events (shot-put, discus, & javeline).
I love to ski, hike, play basketball, ride my bike, etc... Basically anything outside! I am also a big time Seattle Seahawks Fan! Go Hawks!
