Zebrosis

The most recent international epidemic is causing the world to spiral into oblivion! Believed to have started in Central Africa this virus slowly changes humans (Homo Sapiens) into zebras (Equus Quagga). Sadly, nobody is noticing this and hospitals are refusing patients, believing they are just zebras. This disease is called Zebrosis (zee-BROE-sis) and can be transmitted by touching a zebra or someone with the virus. If nothing is done, our race may be wiped out entirely. Scientists (Homo Scientifica) have deduced that those infected take about 4 weeks to transform. After that it appears they retain all past knowledge.
