Most people believe the Earth is sphere shaped. Of course it is. People from the ISS have seen it and if you go all the way around the Earth you get to where you started. How would a planet form any other way? The Earth also has pretty constant gravity and puts a circular shadow on the moon. That is why the Earth is spherical.
Recently a new opinion has come up on how the Earth is shaped. These people think that the Earth is donut-shaped. Here is what people have to say.
Obviously the Earth is donut-shaped (see diagram on left). It is possible to go around and get to where you started. The Arctic is in the middle because in the Arctic it is cold and the center is shadowed from the Sun. It also is why the sky is blue. Most of the Earth is ocean and by looking up in a donut-shape you would see the other part of it. The sky is blue because you are seeing the ocean. This shape also explains time-zones (no elaboration). Of course it is donut-shaped!
