New research shows some amazing results. At a number of IV league colleges have shown that human cells and the cells of a red panda are almost identical. They have all the same parts in almost exactly the same amount as us. This study has changed our view of this almost extinct animal, we used to think that they were simply small helpless animals that needed to be in a zoo to survive, but science suggests no.
This image shows a cell from a human layered on top of a red panda cell and it lined up exactly. Now that we know that their cells are just like us scientist are trying to find why they haven't taken over the world. Their best theory is that they are simply better people than us, not wanting to disturb nature.
We don't know much about this enigma because this research was done so recently. More research still needs to be done on this animal. Scientists still need to know lots about these and if you show up to a local zoo you might see a member of team Alfalfa, a specialized team that is studying these animals by observing their daily routines. Although they haven't found much they said that they do believe that these creatures are easily smarter than us.
