Ali A. also known as Alastair Aiken is a popular youtuber. He creates content of him playing the popular children's game Fortnite. Some of his videos involve him playing the Battle Royale game and winning, or just experimenting with new updates. He has gained over 11 million subscribers as seen on the image to the left.
Some of his fans are concerned because of a recent video. The video is called "In other news" it has already been taken down by Ali-A but not before getting an estimate of 127,000 views. The video was different because Ali-A wasn't playing any games. In the video he starts by telling us that he hates his life. Then his classic intro plays. The video is 10:02 long and after the intro he goes on to say that he hates Youtube because people have been cyberbullying him online. He says, "This comment for example, it says Ali-A I don't like your channel that much but I hope that you are successful in the future and I have nothing against you personally. You see this kind of comment that is just absolute hate is what is making me very sad." He gives a couple more comments then he says that he thinks the best option is for him to leave Youtube altogether and live as a Buddhist monk. Then the video transitions to a black screen with no audio for 4 minutes and 37 seconds. Some people think that this is a symbolic gesture but most agree it was to hit that 10 minute mark.
