Welcome to the
South Belton Middle School Library!
Our library is a vital part of our learning community for our students and teachers. The library and media services program provides guidance, resources, and collaborative instruction for students and staff to gain the skills necessary to become effective, life-long learners and ethical and creative users of ideas and information.
Students may come to the library with a pass from their teacher to check out up to 3 books from our library. Students may keep books up to 21 days and renew them one time. Students may also check out ebooks using the SORA app on both school devices and personal devices.
No Worries! Give our amazing Help Desk a call! They can help get you on track and resolve account issues.

About me
Hi! My name is Mrs. Jessee and I am the SBMS Librarian. I was born and raised in Wyoming . My husband was stationed at Fort Hood, which brought our family to Texas. I attended Central Texas College and Tarleton State University earning a B.A. of Science in Math. I taught middle Math for 18 years before earning my Master of Library Science from Texas A & M Commerce. This is my 5th year as a librarian in Belton ISD and 29th year in education.
I am married with three grown children of my own. I have 4 grandchildren. Reading is my passion and I love to share my love of books with the students of SBMS.
