Pool manager, lifeguard, water safety instructors, and pool cashier positions are available to work this pool season from Memorial Day to Labor Day (May 30- September 5). In need of 55 lifeguards, 10 Water Safety Instructors, 9 Pool Cashiers, and 5 Pool Managers. Staff can be certified in-house, and there is an opportunity for those who apply to work for the City of Killeen to receive the two-year certification for free by contracting to work 300 hours over the course of the summer.
Working as a lifeguard or cashier is a great way for you to grow working skills, as well as to make and save money for college and have a schedule that is flexible enough to work with summer camp schedules for choir, band, orchestra, and athletics.

16 years of age or older at the date of hire.
