There are opportunities to mentor students 1:1, in an Enrichment Group, or a part of the Connection Crew!
As a mentor all you need is an approved BISD Volunteer Application or be a BISD Employee, submit a Mentor Application, and attend training.
Each of us have unique gifts, talents, and passions. Every student we serve has the potential to flourish and succeed in education and in life. When paired with a successful adult, with valuable knowledge and experience to share, we can help them obtain their goals.
Build a team that supports students in obtaining their educational potential and post graduation goals.

Help us spread awareness for homeless students & families! If you find a BISD Rock make a post in the BISD Rocks Facebook group!
Many times our students and families need extra help. Sometimes they are running from a domestic situation and need shelter in a hotel while we connect them with community agencies who can assist. Some need gas money in order to transport their students to school while school of origin transportation is established. Your donation assists our students and families experiencing homelessness.
