Belton New Tech @Waskow's Robotics and Aviation Program offers an exciting educational and career pathway for students interested in cutting-edge technology. Starting freshman year, students dive into the Robotics and Drones Pathway, building skills through engaging coursework. By senior year, they step into the UAV Practicum, becoming contract employees for Belton ISD. In this hands-on role, students take on real projects, such as capturing drone footage of district buildings to support security planning and improve traffic flow. They will also be collaborating with New Tech's Graphic Design students to produce a professional video trailer for the district in the near future. As one of four specialized pathways available at New Tech, the Robotics and Aviation Program empowers students to prepare for future careers in technology, combining technical skills with real-world experience...and making fun and exciting memories along the way!
