2025-26 Belton ISD Instructional Materials - Complete list of instructional materials by grade level and content area including any available parent access links
Belton ISD offers a clear process for stakeholders to review and address any concerns about classroom instructional materials, ensuring transparency, accountability, and alignment with TEA standards. Parents with concerns should contact their child's campus principal. Additional information about this process is also included in the BISD Parent Handbook.
Beginning with the 2024-2025 school year, the Texas Education Agency implemented a new Instructional Materials Review and Approval process that increases district flexibility in materials adoption. This process allows for school districts to review state approved materials annually in alignment with their instructional needs. BISD is currently reviewing the State Board of Education's high-quality instructional materials made available for Elementary Reading Language Arts and Math. If materials are selected, implementation plans will be developed that include budget considerations, professional learning needs, and any necessary adjustments to our scope and sequence. Our Instructional Materials Review process includes feedback from stakeholders across our system. We deeply value your perspective as parents and community members within Belton ISD and invite you to access, review, and provide feedback on these materials.
The Instructional Materials Access document linked below provides guidance for how to digitally access the materials under review. An in person opportunity to view the print and digital materials is also scheduled for Wednesday, March 19th at the BISD administration building from 12:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. Additional appointments to view materials can be made by contacting our T & L department administrative assistant, Sandi Weinert at (254)215-2031. In your review, please include specific examples and details from the resources, when possible, to support your feedback. Instructional Materials Review feedback forms are due for submission by March 24th.
Thank you so much for sharing your valuable feedback on instructional materials that support exceptional learning for each and every student in Belton ISD!
