The University Clinical Aptitude Test (UCAT) is a computer-based admissions test, used by a consortium of UK and International Universities to help select applicants for their medical and dental degree programmes


The BioMedical Admissions Test (BMAT) is used by universities around the world to help select applicants for medical, dental, biomedical and veterinary degree programmes.

The LNAT is used by universities to help them select people for their undergraduate law courses

If you are applying for a course that includes History at Oxford you will be required to sit the History Admissions Test (HAT) - formerly know as the History Aptitude Test:

Everyone who applies to study physics or physics and philosophy at Oxford, without exception, must take the Physics Aptitude Test (PAT), a two-hour test that evaluates a student’s ability in both physics and maths.
