A picture of each graduate will be taken after they receive their diploma by Flash Photography. You will receive an email from them with information about purchasing that picture after graduation.

**Important note about Dickie's Arena: no outside food or drink, no outside flowers, no signs or posters, no noisemakers, and no drones.

*Seniors must be seated in the staging area of Dickie's Arena no later than 2:30 P.M.*
You must account for traffic and security check in. It is a minimum 30 minute drive and 10 minute walk.
You must arrive in your complete attire: robe, hat, tassel, and regalia (approved regalia).
Phones are not permitted past security for seniors. It may not be in your pocket.
No purses or bags allow past security for seniors.
**Please make a plan with your family. We cannot hold things for graduates.**

We want your ceremony to feel as special as possible. To honor the tradition of all classes before you, please follow the formal dress expectations outlined below.
If you have special needs or unique circumstances, please contact your Professional School Counselor, Mr. Everitt or Mrs. Keating.
Required Items:
Gown: Must be pressed before the ceremony. (Please do this ahead of time—gowns arrive very wrinkled.)
Cap & Tassel: Only the tassel may be worn on the cap.
No decorations, drawings, or added adornments are allowed.
Cords/Regalia: Only cords, medals, or sashes issued by the Counseling Department may be worn over the gown.
Black Dress Shoes:
No athletic shoes or flip-flops
High heels are not recommended
All-black cowboy/western boots are acceptable
Not Allowed
Bags, backpacks, or purses
Gum
Cell phones or electronic devices (airpods, earbuds, over‑ear headphones, etc.)
Please leave these with family or in your vehicle.
Ladies
Choose one of the following:
Black dress of school‑appropriate length (must not show below the robe)
OR
Black slacks or skirt with a top that meets or overlaps at the waistband
Additional expectations:
Appropriate, modest jewelry
Black dress pants with black socks (No jeans or shorts)
Black belt
White dress shirt with a collar (must be pressed/ironed; no T‑shirts)
Solid black tie (no patterns)
Do you have family and friends who are not able to attend graduation this year? BISD has been working to be able to livestream each of the graduation ceremonies using Facebook Live. Don’t have Facebook? That’s okay.

Caps and Gowns are delivered to the school and will be handed out on April 29th during Buff time and all lunches.
