Welcome! I am so excited to be your child's kindergarten teacher this year! This will be my second year at The Birches Academy, and I can't wait to begin another amazing year of learning and growing together.

I previously taught 1st, 4th, and 5th grades before finding my passion in kindergarten. I graduated from Plymouth State University with a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and a master's degree in Special Education.

I absolutely love teaching kindergarten! It is a year filled with incredible growth as children build confidence, make new friends, and discover a love of learning. Our days are full of excitement, curiosity, creativity, and play, and I can't wait to share these special moments with you throughout the year.

Together, we will create a classroom built on safety, joy, kindness, and high expectations. My goal is for every child to feel valued, supported, and encouraged to do their very best each day. We will become a classroom team that celebrates successes, learns from mistakes, and cheers one another on.

When I'm not teaching, I love spending time with my husband. The top picture shows us enjoying a fun day at Canobie Lake Park this summer. One of my favorite summer activities is relaxing at the beach with a good book. The other picture shows us in Boston seeing The Outsiders musical, which was absolutely AMAZING!

I believe that a strong partnership between home and school helps children thrive. I look forward to getting to know your family and working together to make this a wonderful year filled with learning, laughter, friendship, and growth!
