1. Maintain Silence:

   Silence must be maintained in the library. Loud talking, unnecessary conversations, making noise by moving chairs or tables, and disturbing other readers are strictly prohibited.

2. Keep Bags and Belongings Outside:

   While entering the library, students must keep their bags and other personal belongings on the rack provided near the entrance. They must also make an entry in the Entry Register.

3. Carry Identity Cards:

   Students must carry their College Identity Card as well as their Library Identity Card while visiting the library.

4. No Food or Outside Materials:

   Eating food or other outside eatables inside the library is strictly prohibited. Students should not damage or misuse any library property.

5. Book Issue and Return Rules:

   Each student may borrow a maximum of two books for seven days for home reading. If a book is damaged or not returned within the prescribed period, appropriate action will be taken according to the library rules and regulations.

6. Maintain Library Facilities:

   Before leaving the library, users should switch off fans, if not required, and keep chairs in their proper places. No changes should be made to the seating arrangement or library furniture without prior permission from the Librarian.

7. Loss or Damage of Library Property:

   In case of loss or damage of a library book or loss of the Library Identity Card, the student must immediately inform the Librarian.

8. Maintain Cleanliness:

   All library users must maintain cleanliness and keep the library premises neat and tidy.

9. Use Library Resources Properly:

   Books, journals, newspapers, computers, and other library resources must be handled carefully and used only for academic and educational purposes.

10. Mobile Phone Discipline:

    Mobile phones should be kept on silent mode inside the library. Loud conversations and unnecessary use of mobile phones are not permitted.

11. Respect Other Readers:

    Users should respect the rights of other readers and should not disturb anyone who is studying or reading.

12. Follow Instructions:

    All students and staff members must follow the instructions given by the Librarian and library staff from time to time.
