Why choose Biotouch pigments?
Biotouch pigments are renowned for their proven formula, perfected over 40 years and trusted by thousands of professionals worldwide. Unlike many competitors' pigments, which often fail to last long on the skin and can fade or discolor quickly, Biotouch pigments are designed for exceptional staying power. They are crafted with a stable inorganic composition that minimizes fading, oxidation, and breakdown. Pre-formulated with specialized undertones, they prevent unwanted color changes, such as pigments turning blue, delivering consistent, long-lasting results.
While some degree of color change is natural and influenced by factors like sun exposure, skincare routines, and individual skin chemistry, Biotouch pigments are designed to significantly reduce these effects. Our specialized line of correction pigments further enables technicians to neutralize unwanted tones with ease.
It’s vital for technicians to assess their clients' skin undertones when selecting pigment colors. Understanding undertones ensures proper pigment selection and enhances the likelihood of achieving the desired results without unexpected color shifts.
With Biotouch, you’re choosing pigments that are rigorously tested, professionally trusted, and proven to stand the test of time—making them the ultimate choice for permanent makeup excellence.
Why do I see an oil-like consistency separated from the color on top of my pigments?
Biotouch pigments, with over 40 years of quality testing, stand out as the safest in the permanent makeup industry. Formulated with glycerin oil, these pigments remain thick and moist and don't dry out for days. In case of separation, blend the pigment powder with the oil by shaking the bottle upside down vigorously. Unlike watery bases, our highly concentrated pigments do not require beads for blending. For optimal consistency and best color retention results, store pigments upside down to ensure the highest concentration when ready for use.
It appears diluted because it has NOT been shaken thoroughly. Color pigment needs to be shaken vigorously for over 20 times. Tighten the cap and with the bottle upside down, shake with full strength. Please be aware that the glycerine always sets at the top of the bottle to keep the pigment moist, this is why it needs to be shaken VERY WELL.

A pigment is a group of compounds that changes color as the result of wavelength-selective absorption. The initial drop can dominate the bottle wall which makes the color appear slightly different. Just shake the lighter color VERY well until it matches the darker color, test by putting a drop on skin, smear and rub the color a few times, the true color will then appear the same.
