Savijïänam — Scientific Exploration for a Spiritual Paradigm is the annual multidisciplinary Journal of the Bhaktivedanta Institute. One of the main aims of the journal is to explore the link between science and spirituality. The journal serves as an open forum where thoughts relating to spiritual paradigms can be scientifically presented. The first issue of the journal (November 2002) includes dialogues with Prof. Werner Arber, a well-known microbiologist at the University of Basel, Switzerland, who received Nobel prize in medicine and physiology and another dialogue with Prof. Karl H. Pribram, a neuro-psychologist from Georgetown University, Washington D.C. The second issue of the journal (Dec 2003) includes a dialogue on ‘Science and Spiritual Exploration’ with Prof. Charles H. Townes, a Nobel Laureate in Physics from the University of California, Berkeley, USA and many other articles. The third & fourth issue (combined) of the journal (2004/2005) includes a dialogue with Prof. Roger Penrose, a well-known mathematician from the University of Oxford, and fifth & sixth issue (combined) of the journal (2007/2008) includes a dialogue with Prof. William Phillips, a Nobel Laureate in Physics from the University of Maryland, USA, among other articles.
