OverDrive - access eBooks through the Libby or Sora app. You just need a library card to access and the more library cards you have the more books you can access.

  • Apply for NYPL library card - https://www.nypl.org/library-card (apply remotely & verify address) – This option really increases the pool of books
  • https://www.nypl.org/library-card - they are temporarily closed due to the Coronavirus but will resume issuing library cards when they return
• SORA - Schools that are not OverDrive partners can sign up for a 60-day free trial to access over 100 ebooks and audiobooks on the Sora app. Teachers can use the app to assign ebooks and audiobooks to students who then download them onto tablets, smartphones or desktops. Students can read these titles on or offline. We are working this for BHS.

Audible - limited to School Closure time period - access to audiobooks for different levels (elementary to teen)

Simply E - 300,000 free ebooks from NYPL (need to be 13 yrs+)
