Chromebooks are the property of BCSD
You may NOT remove labels and barcodes from the Chromebok
You may NOT put stickers or any graffiti on Chromebooks
Keep Chromebooks away from food and drink
You may NOT let others use your Chromebook
You may NOT remove any keys
You may NOT open the screen or any other part of the Chromebook
Report any issues to a teacher so they can put in a Service Now ticket for repair.
Many problems can be solved by RESTARTING your Chromebook. This will also update your Chromebook.
To find out who the Chromebook belongs to, press ctrl+v while on the login screen.
If you have your password reset and it asks for your old password after you create your new password, click "forgot old password" and "Proceed anyway."Â
At the beginning of the year, students receive:
Chromebook and charger
Chromebook will have a NAME STICKER and unique IT TAG
Students are expected to:
Charge device and bring it to classes daily
Report any technical issues or lost Chromebooks to a teacher.
We do not have extra chargers for use during the school day; students must plan ahead
We do not have loaner Chromebooks for students who have lost or forgotten their Chromebook. Only students who turn in a Chromebook for repair will be given a loaner until their Chromebook is repaired.
