Smeu Group (October 2023): Jake, Hashan, Sihe, Matt, Kevin, Nate, Manny
Associate Professor
Manuel Smeu joined the Physics Department at Binghamton University in the fall of 2015. He specializes in computational studies of molecular and nano-electronics, batteries, solar cells and surfaces. Before his current appointment, he was a postdoctoral fellow at the Hydro-Quebec Research Institute and McGill University under the supervision of Dr. Karim Zaghib and Prof. Kirk Bevan. Previous to that, he was a postdoctoral fellow at Northwestern University under the supervision of Prof. Mark Ratner. Dr. Smeu obtained his Ph.D. in Physics from McGill University in 2012 for research co-supervised by Profs. Hong Guo and Robert Wolkow.
