Susanne is a licensed clinical social worker in the state of Kentucky. She has 28 years of experience working in multiple settings that include: community mental health, emergency psychiatric services, outpatient substance use treatment and outpatient PTSD programs.
Dr. Binford specializes in addressing trauma-related disorders and anxiety. She also assists those in the grief process. She is trained in multiple trauma-focused treatments including eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), prolonged exposure and cognitive processing therapy (CPT). She utilizes a variety of therapeutic techniques in her practice including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy.
