Library Check Out

Book Check Out Policy

• Students check out books on a weekly basis in the library.

• Kindergarten- students check out one book from the library.

• 1st -2nd Grade students may check out up to two library books at a time.

• 3rd Grade students may check out up to 3 library books at a time.

• 4th-5th Grade students may check out four books per library and at times when needed, may check out up to five books.

* Under special circumstances, a student may be allowed to check out more than the maximum allowed.

Overdues:

Library books are expected to be returned weekly on a child’s library day. Overdue notices take into consideration school holidays and will be run on Mondays and distributed to students in their classrooms.

If a student does not return their library book on library day, they will be unable to check out another book until their book is returned.
