Hello. My name is Ryan Gage...and this site is always under construction so check back often for updates...
I was born and raised in Billings Montana. And I am proud to say I am a product of its educational system. I went to Rimrock Elementary School, Lewis and Clark Junior High School, and Billings Senior High School. I graduated in 1996 as a member of National Honor Society, Key Club, and the Billings Senior High Varsity Soccer team (the first ever...which turned into a 10 year run of being undefeated against other Billings schools...funny story about that actually...)
I went to the University of Montana in Missoula where I studied Political Science, History and Secondary Education. I began my teaching career in Wyoming and eventually found myself back home teaching part-time at West High until I got a full-time job at Senior where it all began!
I got married 7 years ago to my wife Liz, another Senior High grad (can you tell Senior is the best!?), and we have two wonderful boys (Montgomery and Fletcher) who are my pride and joy! I currently teach American Government and AP American Government and Politics at Senior High and couldn't be happier!

Soccer has always been a part of my life and a big passion. I started playing when I was 6 and began coaching when I was 16. I have coached for several high schools I have taught at, as well as for the Magic City Soccer Club. I'm mostly a spectator (go Manchester United!) at this point, but I may return to the field as a player and coach down the road.
As of right now, my number one passion is theatre. I've been around theatre all my life (with my sister being an actress), but it wasn't until about 2007 that I got involved myself. I began working in theatre as a playwright teaming up with my good friend and accomplished playwright to construct a one-act play called "La Mano del Diablo" which turned into a full-length play called "To Each His Own". The play was centered around Irish Immigration, Manifest Destiny, Mexican-American War, and the Civil War. We staged it in the Spring of 2007, and I haven't stopped writing since. I have gone on to write several one-act plays including:
Billings Senior High School (2x staged)
Billing Senior High School
Montana Thespian Festival
"In Dog Years" (Venture's One Act Festival)
"All Green on the Irish Front" (Venture's Wet Ink 24 Hour Play Festival)
"For One Day" (Venture's One Act Festival and A Collection of One Acts in Eden Prairie, MN)
"Confusing the Divine with a Tadasana Giraffe" (Venture's Wet Ink 24 Hour Play Festival)
"Private Enterprises" (Venture's One Act Festival)
"Because You're Outnumbered!" (Venture's Wet Ink 24 Hour Play Festival)
"D.R.E.A.M. Inc." (Venture's One Act Festival)
My biggest theatrical accomplishment is a play called "A Post on the Prairie", which is a play I wrote and produced here in Billings. It's a post-apocalyptic tale about survival and redemption. It's set on the Montana prairie and is an intense two-person show with comedy, drama, and action all taking place. Here's some information and videos about it!
