Welcome!
During Orchestra 3, you will continue where you left off in Orchestra 2. There is no required book for this class. You will learn to shift and play in more complicated keys and time signatures. Be sure to check out the Scout Strings group. This would be a great opportunity for you to play more challenging music with other orchestra students.

Violins and violas: shoulder rest or sponge. A shoulder rest is preferred. If you purchase a shoulder sponge, test it out before purchasing to make sure it's comfortable on you and your instrument. Sponges come in several different sizes.
Cellos and bases: end pin anchor or rock stop. Endpin anchors are preferred. The strap is much more secure than a rubber puck.
