Aides

DAILY To Do List:

1. Locate the books on the "holds" sheet - this will be printed on your desk if there are any

2. Special Jobs - each aide may have a "special job" they are working on.

3. Ask Mrs. Hegg to show you how to shelve the books after you play "SHELVE IT" game- FICTION - Level 3 AND NONFICTION - Level 3 (play each three times). While shelving, push the bookends so they are tight in the FICTION section (starting w/ A) AND NONFICTION section (start with 000s - 900s (graphic novels by the door) - place a sticky note where you left off

EXTRA DUTIES if done with above to do list:

1. Push in tables/chairs. Make sure the tables are tight together and the black casters are LOCKED and pushed down so they don't slide

2. Check that furniture is in place (Makerspace area)

3. Dust all computers with fabric rag and spray bottle under sink

4. Check the outside book drop - ask for key from me

5. Play the "SHELVE IT" game - 

6. Create a display/bulletin board

7. Update Statistics Board

8. Help with Scout Press

9. Deliveries
