We started in the classroom viewing the digital lesson and reviewing the coneent from teh Amplify Unit and how to make connections to the tipi.

Data Collection in the Tipi
The teachers then took the lesson to the tipi using infrared thermometers and a thermal imaging cameral to collect data from inside the tipi with a propane fireplace.

We use wet paper towels on the fire to burn and see the convection currents with the ash. We visited about ideas of using streamers tied at various points within the tipi to show air movement.
