Students work hard when learning a foreign language, as to motivate them to continue improving their target language skills each class will have a fiesta at the end of the semester. Students need to bring a dish or semi-healthy snack to share with their classmates. I will have games or other school appropriate activities for students to enjoy during this period.
On the same note, I will be sending home a reminder for parents and students weeks before the fiesta to give parents and students time to talk about their cooperation. If there is a reason your student cannot bring something to share, please send me an email, note or call.
