Billings Public Schools Gifted & Talented Education
Quest is a qualifying intervention within Billings Public Schools designed to provide services for students who have been formally identified as gifted. Serving students in grades 2–7, Quest offers learning experiences that extend beyond the general classroom by emphasizing advanced thinking, problem solving, creativity, and depth of understanding. Placement in Quest is based on a formal identification process, ensuring that students receive instruction and opportunities aligned with their demonstrated learning needs.
Where Curiosity Finds Its People
Quest is Billings Public Schools’ Gifted & Talented program, a place where curious minds gather to ask deeper questions and think in richer ways. Students learn alongside intellectual peers, stretching their thinking through meaningful challenges that honor both who they are and who they are becoming.
Learning Rooted in the Real World
Quest learning is connected to the world beyond the classroom. Community experts, local field experiences, and authentic problems help students see how their thinking matters. From architecture and medicine to environmental systems and cultural studies, learning is grounded in relevance and purpose.
A Place to Grow; Academically and Personally
Gifted learners often feel deeply and think intensely. Quest intentionally supports social-emotional growth alongside advanced academics, helping students build perseverance, manage frustration, collaborate thoughtfully, and develop confidence in their abilities.
