Overview
The Billings Public Schools Family Resource Center is dedicated to supporting every student's potential and fostering collective resilience and student success in our community. Students and families with students enrolled in Billings Public Schools who are experiencing hardship have access to a range of resources, including basic needs and support in connecting to community services.
The BPS Family Resource Center connects students and families in need with the following resources and supports:
Provide emergency basic needs such as food, clothing, school supplies, and hygiene
Assistance in navigating school registration, connections to student support programs, and supporting students in school
Connection to numerous community agencies to support basic needs (housing, food, clothing, transportation, workforce, etc. )
Connection to community services to support students and families experiencing crisis situations (mental health, physical health, domestic violence, etc.)
Goals of the Family Resource Center
Enhance student engagement, attendance, and academic performance.
Establish a robust support system within schools to improve access to community resources for students and families.
Foster stability, self-sufficiency, and empowerment among students and families to address their needs effectively.
Accessing Support
If you know of a Billings Public Schools student in need of support and would like to make a recommendation for support services provided by the Family Resource Center, please see the options below:

If you are a Billings Public Schools staff member, please use this form and a Community Liaison with the Family Resource Center will follow-up with the student and/or family.
Make a self-referral using this simple form, and a Community Liaison with the Family Resource Center will contact you.
If you are a community service organization referring a student or family for school support and connections please use this form, and a Community Liaison with the Family Resource Center will follow-up with the student and/or family.
Walk-ins to the Family Resource Center are not accepted at this time due to limited hours. Please call the Family Resource Center at 406.281.5995 if immediate support is needed.
Hours of Support
The Family Resource Center is currently open to meet with families/students who have scheduled times. Please fill out a connections form, or call, and a Community Liaison will contact you to schedule a time.

Park in the parking lot behind the Lincoln Center in the designated spaces along N 29th St facing the Dude Rancher Lodge or park in the metered space in along N 29th St. (Change will be provided to pay for parking meters)
Enter in the doors off of N 29th St - You will see a sign that says 'Family Resource Center'
