The boys started their season with an away trip to Great Falls to play CMR. The game got off to a quick start with Jayden Harper scoring the opening goal to put the falcons ahead early. CMR responded quickly by grabbing a goal of their own. To finish the half Jayden Harper drew a foul in CMR's box, allowing Skyview's Ethan Chaffee to put the Falcons ahead, a lead the Falcons would retain for the rest of the game to finish the day with the win.
For the second game of the season the Flacons played a tough crosstown game against Senior. Both teams were playing an even game with chances on both ends before Senior was able to capitalize on a Skyview mistake which allowed them to take the lead before the end of the half. Late in the second half with the Falcons trailing, they committed bodies forward to commit to try and get a goal which caused them to give up the 2nd goal to Senior to seal the game.
Coming off a loss to Senior the Falcons were looking to bounce back agains Great Falls High. The game got off to a bad start for the Falcons with the Bison scoring in the first minute of the contest, but the Falcons responded with a goal from Payton Schmang to finish the half 1-1. The boys came out strong in the second half by scoring 4 goals coming from Cohen Hoagland, Josiah Galka, Jayden Harper, and Eli Stumpf to seal the convincing win 5-2 over Great Falls.
Skyview played a tough game against Bozeman High, a team they had success against last season. The Falcons played a dominant first half with an Eli Stumpf goal that put them in the lead. The Hawks, however, were able to take advantage of a Skyview injury which allowed them to even the score before halftime. The second half got off to a quick start with a Bozeman scoring a goal to open the half, but the Falcons did not give in. After pushing all game, in the last minutes Skyview's Ethan Chaffe scored a last minute goal to tie the game for Skyview.
Coming off a couple injuries and a 1 day rest the Falcons had a tough showing against Gallatin on the road. The first half was a horrendous half for Skyview as Gallatin was able to put 4 past the Falcon defense. They came out much stronger in the second half, but their effort was ultimately not enough to get any result on a rough away trip.
After a tough weekend Skyview was ready to get back on track with a crosstown Homecoming game against West High. Both teams played a tough rivalry-esque game in which both teams were able to grab a goal in the first half to go into halftime at 1-1. The second half saw chances on both ends, in which neither team was able to capitalize to walk out with a win. The game finished 1-1.Â
The boys faced off against Belgrade on very hot day game. The game got off to a slow start with the Falcons controlling the game but not able to net a goal going into halftime, finishing the half at 0-0. The Falcons came out strong again after halftime with Jayden Harper winning a penalty which Cohen Hoagland put away to give the Falcons the lead. Peyton George scored the Falcons second goal to seal the win and the clean sheet for the boys.
Coming off a good win over the weekend the Falcons faced off against CMR at home. The game got off to a quick start with the boys scoring 3 goals in the first 20 minutes to destroy the morale of CMR, a lead they were able to keep until halftime and eventually the rest of the game. The Falcons were able to add another in the second half thanks to Peyton George's second of the day which saw the boys able to get the win.
The boys faced off against GFHS away in Great Falls with a chance to move into 3rd with a good result. The Falcons started off quickly going up 2 in the first 20 minutes. Great Falls then responded with a goal of their own from a corner before half that saw the half finish 2-1. In the second half Great Falls was able to get another goal before getting a red card, in which Skyview could not capitalize with Jayden Harper scoring a goal which was ruled out for offside. The game finishing 2-2 was a disappointing result for the boys.
The boys played Senior for the second time this season on their senior night. The game got off to a mostly even start with chances on both ends with Skyview beginning to control the game getting chance after chance. The first goal of the game went to Senior to end the first half 1-0. The second half started off cotinuing the action of the first half with Senior settling in and getting a second goal which led to many more and the end of the game.
