James Weaver

Former UAM graduate Mr. James Weaver has been a physical science and physics teacher at Monticello High School for four years. On his off time, Mr. Weaver enjoys outside activities with his wife and third grade son, coaching his son in various sports, and woodworking. In addition to teaching, he also partners with one of his many friends in renting out bouncy houses for parties and events. “I have enjoyed working with all the staff and administration in the four years I've been here. They have been very helpful in helping me become a better teacher every year,” says Mr. Weaver.

Deena Jarrett

Ms. Deena Jarrett has been working as the Monticello High School librarian for five years. Even though Ms. Jarrett says that being a librarian is not just about books and shushing, she loves her job. She also loves watching movies and playing with technology like her very popular youtube channel. When asked how her year has been she replied, “ I have always loved what I do, and I really love my job.”

Holly McDonald

Monticello High School has a new Forensics teacher. Former English teacher Mrs. Holly McDonald has a special love for reading and spending time with her friends and family. A fun fact about Mrs. Mcdonald is that she once could speak German and even lived in Germany for a month. When asked how her MHS experience has been so far, she said, “ My year so far has been amazing. I am teaching a great group of students and feel extremely welcomed by my fellow faculty members.”
