We hold Women/Trans/Queer (WTQ) Access Nights so that those who are typically marginalized in the cycling community will have the opportunity to learn mechanical skills, work on their bike, and form connections in the community in a welcoming, safer space.
WTQ Access Nights are for folks in the LGBTQ2S+ community, cis-women, trans and/or non-binary folks of all genders to use our resources, shop space, and tools in an inclusive, relaxed environment with the support of WTQ mechanics and volunteers.Â
We strive to be radically accessible and inclusive spaces, where everyone, particularly people who often cannot access bike spaces, feel safe and welcome. Our goal is to create an environment that is free from racism, sexism, heterosexism, cissexism, ableism, audism, saneism, sizeism, colourism, classism, misogyny, ageism, transmisogyny.
