About Me

Appearances can be deceiving, as I have only been teaching for eleven years! This is a mid-life career change for me. Before that I was in real estate management and appraisal, taking a break to become a stay-at-home mom for several years. I have been married to my college sweetheart for 37 years. We have three wonderful children, Max, Chloe and Claire. As of May 2019, all three have graduated from college! Chloe is continuing her education; she is in her fourth year of a six year doctoral program in neuroscience. Claire, our most recent graduate, will complete her masters degree in speech pathology in June. Max is in operations and marketing for Nike.

I have been in the Bremen District since 2009, first at Hillcrest and now at Bremen High School since 2012. I have enjoyed getting to know both the students and the wonderful staff here at Bremen, and I look forward to another great school year! Go Braves!!
