Academic

• • Maintain a minimum science weighted GPA of 3.75

  • Maintain a minimum overall weighted GPA of 3.50

  • Enroll in at least 1 full-year lab based science course during each year of membership

  • Complete any level of introductory Biology, Chemistry, and Physics before you apply.

  • Complete/Enroll in 2 of the following courses:

    • AP Biology

    • AP Chemistry

    • AP Physics 1

    • AP Physics 2

    • AP Physics C

    • AP Environmental Science

Meetings

• • Attend Science NHS Meetings

  • Regularly Check School Email & Google Classroom

Academic Service

• • Participate in 3 hours of Academic Service each semester of membership

    • Examples of Academic Service include, but is not limited to:

      • Tutoring

      • Presenting to Peers

      • Speaking at Board of Education Meetings

      • Volunteering at Science Fairs and Other Competitions

      • Assisting Teachers with Lab Maintenance

  • Active Membership in at least one Science-Related Club at Governor Livingston

    • Examples of Science-related clubs include, but is not limited to:

      • Environmental Club

      • Math League Team

      • Math Modeling

      • Robotics Team

      • Science Team

      • ARML Team

President's Lecture

• • Attend at least one president's lecture annually.

• • Maintain behavior that is acceptable to the guidelines as outlined by the Governor Livingston Student Handbook
