Welcome to the 8th Grade Web page. This will be your resource for all the important 8th grade information for the upcoming school year.

Week of January 13th - Ms. Fenimore to will be in Science classes talking about course selection for the high school. She will be sending home a form (also found on the forms page above!) that needs to be filled out and returned to her by January 24th.
Week of January 21st - 8th-grade teachers will submit course recommendations. These recommendations will be used by the GL counselors when scheduling you.
January 22rd - GL counselors visit CMS to discuss the Program of Studies with 8th graders during Advisory. Come ready with any questions you might have.
February 3rd, 4th, 5th (6th & 7th - snow dates) - Counselors from GL will be at CMS for individual 8th grade course selection meetings. Your parents/guardians got an email with your scheduled time. The appointments will also be posted outside Ms. Fenimore's office starting Jan 31st. Parents are invited to the scheduling appointment but are not required to attend.
On or about February 21th - Course selection choices are sent home.
February 28th - Deadline to make course selection changes.
