Worth 10% on a test grade of your choosing (limit 2 per quarter)

Purpose – Connect chemistry with what’s going on in the world around you

Task - Search for an article that interests you in a magazine, newspaper, or Internet to find a science-related article less than 3 months old

Product – Summarize the article in your own words and explain how it connects to science class in a 1-page report. Finding a connection may be difficult. Ask for help if you need it. You may elaborate on how the topic interests you if you’d like, however, your heading and text shouldn’t go over 1 page.
