Periodic Table Block Extra Credit Assignment

Worth 5% on a test grade of your choosing (limit 2 per quarter)

Purpose – Create an extra large periodic table from student designed element cards for permanent display

Task – Select one element from the periodic table and look up all the basic information (Name, symbol, atomic number, atomic mass) about that element as well as one way it is used.

Product – Design, neatly label and completely color a 5 inch by 5 inch square displaying everything you looked up. You may add any appropriate “scientific” artistic flair. Please do not use anything less thick than poster board as we want it to last!
