I grew up in Gloucester Township and attended public school and then Paul VI High School. I currently live in Gloucester Township with my husband Kevin, my daughter Keely and my son Declan.
The first time I learned Italian was in high school in Mrs. Cardillo's class. I took Italian all four years in high school and had the chance to visit Italy when I was a sophomore. I instantly fell more in love with the language, culture, food and la dolce vita. After high school, I decided to study Italian at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, studied abroad at The Institute Sant'Anna in Sorrento, Italy and pursued a Masters degree in Education through Rutgers as well.
I started my teaching career at Timber Creek High School and I have been teaching here for the past 13 years. I have enjoyed getting to know my students every year and see them grow in the language. I have held roles as the Renaissance Advisor and Cheerleading Coach over the past years and I am currently the Student Council Advisor.
I am excited for the year to come and know that it will be different than what we are used to but one thing we can do is stay positive! In bocca al lupo!
