This is the designated textbook for the AP Language & Composition course. You will be given a hard copy to keep at home, you will have access to a hard copy during class, and will always have access to the PDF online.
The books we use in the classroom are the Third Edition, whereas the PDF we have access to is the Second Edition. The only thing that is different are the page numbers, which I will be very clear on when assigning reading and working out of the textbook.
Course skills describe what students should be able to do while studying nonfiction works throughout the course.
Course skills also form the basis of tasks students are asked to perform on the AP Exam.
Students will benefit from multiple opportunities to develop course skills in a scaffolded manner throughout the year within the course.
