My Courses

English III CP (British LIt)

This course is designed to prepare students with the literacy skills they will need for the world outside of high school (be it college, technical school, or a career). Through British Literature, students will expand their reading comprehension, vocabulary, research skills, and ability to write argumentation, narrative, and exposition. Two sections of English III CP (Period 2 and Period 3) this year are inclusion, meaning the class will be taught in conjunction with my co-teacher, Mr. Padover (mpadover@bhprsd.org).

English IV AP

(Literature & Composition)

This accelerated course is designed to prepare students to take the CollegeBoard AP Literature and Composition Exam in May of 2027. In this challenging course, students will study, analyze, and interpret novels, poetry, and drama, as well as the figurative and rhetorical strategies utilized within them. Students will be exposed to new vocabulary and strenuous writing assignments each marking period in order to help them succeed on the AP exam and beyond.
