HELLO!

My name is Catherine Lawrence, and education is extremely important to me. No, I was not a student who LOVED school, although I did always love English class.  As I have grown, I have come to deeply respect education. This is why I became a teacher. My wish is to teach my students to value the experience of learning, and recognize that sometimes it will not be easy.  (In my experience, those experiences can be our most significant moments of growth!) Education goes so much further than just the content we learn. What and how we learn, helps us become the people that we are, and travels with us along the road to becoming the people we can be. 

Resilient. Strong. Open-minded. Compassionate. 

I am a proud life long learner, and you should be too! This  is my seventh year in the Timber Creek family; a family of people who continue to inspire me to be the best version of myself, and encourage my own learning daily. I am so excited to work with you in English class this year, and I thank you in advance for continuing to help me learn!
