All pertinent course information will be provided through Google Classroom.
Each unit in Google Classroom will be identified by a number. For example, anything labeled with a “1” will indicate that it belongs to Unit 1: Introduction to Biology, Microscopes, & Characteristics of Life.
Classwork will be a combination of paper-based assignments and Google Classroom assignments.
Each unit will have an assigned packet that corresponds to any work completed outside of Google Classroom. Packets may include notes, in-class assignments, Do Now and Exit Ticket forms, diagrams and charts, vocabulary, and other materials used throughout the unit. The cover of each packet will include points values for all items inside.
Students will receive only one copy of each packet. Packets should remain in the classroom and may only be taken out of the classroom when students are studying for a quiz or test.
Remember: “The one who does the work is the one who gains the knowledge.”
I expect you to have a positive attitude, an active mind, and a willingness to participate in your learning. Your success in this class will depend on the effort you put into your work each day. Come to class prepared, participate actively, complete your assignments, ask questions, and take responsibility for your learning.
I don't expect perfection. I expect a willingness to try.
