🌟 Hi, I’m Mrs. Simmons—proud Highland High School 💙💛 English teacher, peer mentor advisor, and wellness coach!

📚 This is my 12th year at Highland, and I couldn’t be more excited to continue learning, growing, and laughing alongside my students every single day. My favorite part of teaching? Watching my students’ voices shine through their writing, discussions, and creativity ✍️✨.

🌱 Beyond the classroom, I’m passionate about mentorship and wellness—helping students build confidence, balance, and resilience both in school and in life. Whether it’s leading peer mentors or coaching wellness strategies, I love seeing students thrive inside and outside the classroom.
