Supplies:

1. Pencil or pen
2. Bison Binder/Planner
3. Positive Attitude

Classroom Expectations:

1. Be on time
2. BE RESPONSIBLE
3. BE RESPECTFUL; “GOLDEN RULE”
4. Cooperate and participate in all class activities
5. Remain in your seat until directed otherwise
6. Do your own QUALITY work and turn it in on time!

Interventions:

1. Warning/Take a Break
2. Removal from classroom/parental phone call
3. Referral to main office
4. Repeat, redo or complete work after school or “Get it Done” room

Grading:

1. Total points accumulated throughout the quarter will determine grades. Notes, participation, planner checks, homework assignments, classroom worksheets, quizzes, tests, and class projects will factor into overall grades. Late assignments will lose ONE LETTER grade per day it is late!
2. Cheating/copying will not be tolerated. If you copy another student’s work, both students will receive automatic zeros. I will assume that students talking during a test are cheating.
3. Grades will be weighted as follows:
   • Tests → 60%
   • In Class Work → 30%
   • Homework → 10%

Grading Scale:

A+ 97-100%

A 94-96%

A - 90-93%

B+ 87-89%

B 84-86%

B - 80-83%

C+ 77-79%

C 74-76%

C - 70-73%

D+ 67-69%

D 64-66%

D - 60-63%

F Below 60%

Absences:

• If you miss for any reason, you have two days for everyday you are absent to make up any work you missed, up to a maximum of six days.
• You are responsible for any work done in class--check Google Classroom, check the board, check with a buddy and then ask Mr. Anderson what you missed.

Homework:

• Expect homework on a regular basis
• Assignments will be posted on the board each day and you should keep a record of all in your binder
• Homework can be minimized by using class time to the best of your ability. If you stay on-task throughout the class, there will be less homework
