You are planning a massive spring makeover for your backyard. You need a lot of wildflower seeds, and you’re trying to decide which store has the better price.

• Green Thumb Garden: Sells 5 packets of seeds for $9.00.

• Bloom & Grow Shop: Sells 8 packets of seeds for $13.60.

The Challenge:

1. Calculate the Unit Price: How much does one packet of seeds cost at each store?

2. The Better Deal: Which store is cheaper per packet?

3. The Big Project: If you decide to buy 15 packets from the cheaper store, how much will you spend in total?
