Frequently Asked Questions

All Students K-12 in the Brandywine Heights Area School District will have access to a device that can be taken home with them in order to complete digital learning assignments and activities.

What devices are students receiving?

  • In grades K-2 - All students will be provided an iPad. Please follow the iPad tutorials and information below for assistance.

  • In grades 3-12 - All students will be provided a laptop. Please follow the laptop tutorials and information below for assistance.

How does my student log in?

What if I don't have internet or Wi-Fi at home?

What programs or apps can my student access on the device?

  • All apps are pre-loaded onto the device and managed by BHASD. Your student will not have access to the App Store, Chrome Web Store, or have the ability to download additional software without administrative approval.

What filters and/or safety precautions have been set up on the device?

  • All laptops and iPads have content filters installed.

What rules should my student follow when using the device?

What if the device is lost or damaged?

  • BHASD offers an optional insurance program for accidental damage to devices. This insurance does not cover malicious damage or loss of the device. Information about insurance is provided through the beginning of the year digital re-enrollment process. If you missed this and would like to take advantage, please email techhelp@bhasd.org.

What if there is a problem with the device or I need technical support?

  • Please review the tutorials below for assistance. If there is something that is not covered in a tutorial and you need further assistance, please e-mail techhelp@bhasd.org and a technician will respond within 24 hours of your request. Please be sure to include the following:
