Class overview
2nd grade is an exciting year in school! We will do SO many things in 2nd grade and learn A LOT! We will read many interesting stories and learn quite a few spelling, vocabulary, and grammar skills. In math we will add and subtract one, two, and three digit numbers, count money, tell time, measure objects, and have FUN Math Fridays! In Science and Social Studies we learn interesting things and do some projects. Get ready for a busy, exciting year!
About me
Hello! My name is Cindy Rissmiller and I have been a teacher in the Brandywine Heights School District for many years. I live in Rockland Township with my husband, Ty and my daughter, Charli. My husband is a dental technician and my daughter is a junior at Arcadia University majoring in public health and playing field hockey. We have a golden retriever named Franklin and a crazy cat named Myles. I wanted to be a teacher from the time I was a little girl. I truly enjoy my job and the wonderful people I work with.
